Crane Operator - 2nd Shift Location: Waukesha, WI, 53186

Overview We are currently seeking a Crane Operator for our facility located in Waukesha, WI. As a Crane Operator on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes, and utilizing shop math skills to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials.
Responsibilities Assist Painters by prepping units, operating ovens, and operating the 25-ton crane.
Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation, and throat installation.
Determine from the Order Process Sheet what parts need to be kitted for Final Assembly.This includes assembling kits, unloading/retrieving tanks, and cabinets.
Build pallets per specifications and shrink wrap transformers.
Operate all material handling equipment such as walkies, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Assist Welders by building covers, leak testing, retrieving tanks/radiators, and crane operation.
Serve as a back-up to Material Attendants to help unload interplant trucks and deliver materials to Final Assembly
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum of 1 year of experience operating overhead cranes Strong shop math skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints Excellent communication skills Attention to detail and focus on safety You should be proficient in:

Overhead Crane Salary info: $22.30 - $24.80 / hr
