OU Education Services (OUES) is a nonprofit created to manage and grow online learning at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents has authorized OU to engage OUES in supporting OU to manage and deliver online programs and courses. OUES was created in collaboration with the university and will improve OU's capabilities to increase education accessibility.

As a Course Developer, you will collaborate closely with instructional designers, educational technologists, and media specialists to build captivating online courses. From storyboarding to quality assurance review, you'll be at the forefront of creating learning experiences within OU's digital learning environment.
Key responsibilities: Contributes to the development of storyboards, graphics, videos, and other media assets. Works across functional roles, contributing to the development process through engaging in ideation, providing guidance and offering feedback. Performs quality assurance testing to ensure course functionality, organization, formatting, and accessibility. Conducts benchmarking research to support new course and program development. Participates in departmental efforts including meetings, training events, and process improvements. Tracks task status, productivity, and project timelines using department systems and tools. Required Skills/Requirements: Good attitude, positive mindset, and commitment to the OUES values. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Education, Communication, Digital Media, English, Journalism, Library and Information Studies, etc. Strong communication, collaboration, time management and problem-solving skills. Commitment to continuous skill development and process improvement Eye for detail and ability to balance multiple priorities. Preferred Skills/Requirements: Work experience in Instructional Design, Education, or related field. Course development experience following instructional design specifications. Working knowledge of multimedia tools and accessibility standards. Proficiency with learning management systems and authoring tools. Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes.
