Responsibilities
• Producing all aspects of original and live programming for the City Council's government access television and online channels• Troubleshooting critical systems and recommending upgrades• Coordinating with public information officers and City staff to produce government access programming• Ensuring compliance with government access channel standards• Identifying, acquiring, modifying, copying, and disseminating existing broadcast material• Assisting in preparing digital and print communication materials• Assisting in creating content for the Council website and social media accounts• Training personnel, interns, and volunteers• Reporting to work on a regular and timely basis• Performing other assigned duties
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in video or multimedia production, communications, broadcast journalism, creative arts, or a related field• 2 years of experience in broadcasting, journalism, communications, multimedia production, or a closely related field• Knowledge of multimedia production and broadcast methods and techniques• Knowledge of video production equipment and online content publishing platforms• Ability to troubleshoot problems with live production equipment and software• Effective communication skills• Creativity and attention to detail• Valid class 'D' Oklahoma Driver license
