We offer a generous benefits package which includes a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!Responsibilities:Reporting to an Open Pit Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanic is responsible for the following.Complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of large mining, support equipment fleets Maintain shop areas, tooling and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environmentPerform daily pre-shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processesPerform other duties as assigned.QualificationsTwo (2) plus years of experience in maintenance of mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military or support equipmentpreferredBasic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumaticsrequiredAbility to work safely and effectively with minimal supervisionrequiredAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of peoplerequiredExperience handling tirespreferredAbility to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditionsrequiredLift at least 50 lbs.requiredProven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership modelrequiredAbility to be an initial team member in a growing, fast paced environment, and support team in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection and production goals with a proven safety recordrequiredHousekeeping standards are maintained to a high levelrequiredGood written and verbal communication skillsrequiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.#LI-TC1
