THE ROLE As a Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) full time Intern you will have the opportunity to assist the Direct Team of Oshkosh Global Supply Chain Organization, supporting the operations of the entire Oshkosh Corporation. YOUR IMPACT As a GPSC Intern your experience may include: Organizing both internal and external KPI's including demand, performance, and costs for trending Supporting continuous improvement culture across cross-functional teams through development of standard process and competitive advantage. Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to achieve strategic organizational needs. Leveraging and development of advanced tools to monitor price and index trends for opportunity and threat collection. Processing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and support other contractual agreements negotiation process. Orchestrating risk management and information flow through information collection and evaluation for decision making. Manage the request for information process; conduct RFQ and RFP creation and analysis. Responsible for compiling, completing, and providing ad hoc reporting to Direct Team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Information Systems, or related field. Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites to include Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Power Point, Share Point Willing to travel to Oshkosh, WI location for the duration of the internship. STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently. Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function in a small team environment, must be a contributor and know when to attain consensus.
