The Job at a Glance The Intern Copywriter will be responsible for assisting the Director of Communications in creating content for web, social, video, email, and print materials, as well as assisting in other written projects as needed. The Intern Copywriter will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering compelling written content that effectively communicates our brand message, engages our target audience, and drives business growth.
A Typical Day Develop engaging and actionable copy for various marketing materials, including blog content, social media posts, email content, and more. Understand our brand voice, tone, and style guidelines to maintain consistency across all communication channels. Create longform financial education content for the new website's financial resource center, brainstorming topic ideas and creating relevant, SEO optimized content on a regular cadence. Collaborate with the creative team and other stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute effective, engaging copy. Stay up to date on industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform and enhance the effectiveness of your writing. Ensure all content is accurate, proofread, and free from errors, adhering to grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines. Adapt to changing priorities, work well under deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. What We Look For Qualifications

Current college or university student with a major in English, communications, marketing, or related coursework. Previous copywriting experience-through other internships or school activities-is a plus. Minimum Requirements
Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Creative and flexible thinker who enjoys problem solving through written content. Ability to translate complex financial or technical topics into consumer-friendly, easy-to-understand content. Experience writing strategic content in a consistent voice across multiple platforms. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building and listening. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required.
