The dynamic and versatile copywriter will craft copy for our website, social media, sales materials, recruitment initiatives, and internal communications. The Copywriter will work with the Communications and Content Team to ensure that all messaging meets our Brand and Style Guidelines for consistent tone and identity.Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.Job DutiesWrite original copy for project profiles, company news articles, newsletters, video scripts, radio ads, flyers, letters, and other deliverables as assigned. Create social posts in Hootsuite. Edit and proof work to ensure quality standards. Follow strategies to schedule company news and social media content. Adapt writing style for unique audiences. Conduct research and interviews to complete writing assignments. Ensure content aligns with company messaging by adhering to Brand and Style Guidelines. Stay current with our product offerings by division and geographic location, best writing practices, and SEO.Physical Requirements:Sitting frequently (standing desk options are available)Standing, walking, climbing occasionallyExperience and Qualifications3 5 years of work experience as a copywriter, marketing coordinator, communications specialist, or similar role.An Associates or Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field is preferred.A writing portfolio required.Excellent attention to detail while writing, editing, storing, and publishing projects. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel, and marketing technologies, such as Wrike (project management software), MediaValet (data asset management software), and Hootsuite (social media management software). A creative team player with excellent communication skills and knowledge of marketing. Curiosity to learn about the manufacturing and construction industries, SEO, and social media trends. Proven time management skills.
