Position Overview: The controls engineer is in charge of implementing new equipment and technical projects, maintaining the industrial network, performing continuous PLC work, gathering data from the shop floor, and helping to resolve any technical problems with the plant.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automation and control systems for new and existing manufacturing processes, including robotics and computer-based control systems It is the duty of all plant employees to keep an eye out for any deviations from our food safety and quality (HACCP & SQF) programs, and to promptly report them to your immediate supervisor. Make sure the industrial plant systems are kept operating as efficiently as possible. Program systems, like corporate ERP or factory efficiency systems, to communicate with the industrial network. Support the execution of plant capital project programming. Take part in the process of choosing new equipment. Help the plant teams carry out the projects they have selected.
