Controls Engineer

Position Overview: The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated instrumentation equipment and control systems used for various operations. The engineer will need to be knowledgeable in electrical controls and automation, as well as have experience drafting designs with AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities: Design, coordinate, and test instrumentation and control systems for efficient operations. Develop and execute plans for equipment implementation, maintenance, and upgrades. Identify and fix malfunctions in instrumentation equipment and control systems. Create electrical designs with AutoCAD. Ensure proper documentation of all electrical control systems and automated equipment. Identify and analyze data for trends and operational improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5+ years' experience in instrumentation and control systems. Proficiency in programming of automated instrumentation systems. Knowledge of electrical controls and automation. Process knowledge of P&IDs and isometric drawings required.
