Description: Enhanced Automation a Rockwell Automation Recognized System Integrator is seeking an Electrical Controls Designer to join our expanding business. We are seeking an individual who will be designing and integrating industrial automation solutions for industry. Responsibilities Work closely with Project Engineer to design custom control solutions for industrial machinery and process equipment. Develop circuit diagrams using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical Select hardware and create BOM (bill of materials) Design panel layout of hardware components Provide technical support to manufacturing System test prior to shipment Develop and improve upon engineering standards Work independently and in project groups Skills: autocad electrical, electrical design, control panels, electrical drafting, eplan, UL 508A, VFD, HMI, industrial components, PLC, machine control design, control panel design, BOM, Electrical engineering, Controls design, Control panel, Panel layout Top Skills Details: autocad electrical,electrical design,control panels Additional Skills & Qualifications: Recent Graduates or 1 year of work experience designing industrial automation control systems Proficient with AutoCAD or AutoCAD electrical a plus Demonstrate ability to understand industrial control circuits Proficient with designing controls to UL 508A, CUL, CSA, and CE a plus Working knowledge of Rockwell hardware parts including PLC, HMI, industrial components, and VFD's Proficient with Variable Frequency Drive Systems and/or motor control applications Familiar with machine control design Written and oral communication skills Education 2-year technical degree in electrical design or automation a plus Experience Level: Entry Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
