Currently, we seek a talented and ambitious Controls & Automation Engineer who will focus on:
Primarily Local Work – Travel is approximately 10%, most of which is local
PLC & HMI Programming – Allen Bradley, SIEMENs, GE Emerson, Keyence, and other platforms
Robot Programming – Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, and other platforms
Electrical Controls Design – AutoCAD Electrical
Service Calls – Installations, modifications, and troubleshooting
At Hoekstra, Controls & Automation Engineers are successful when they come equipped with the following:
Ability to work in the United States without any type of sponsorship - Required
2+ years of Controls & Automation experience – Required
Technical proficiency in PLC and HMI Programming Required
Robot Programming Languages and AutoCAD preferred
Flexibility – able to change gears based on changing conditions - Required
Great communication skills (verbal and written) - Required
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain (vehicle allowance available) – Required
Technical training (programming & robotics) – Strongly Preferred
