Controller/Lead Accountant

Lead Accountant/Controller As lead accountant your influence will span from the tactical to the strategic. This position will be responsible for the core accounting and bookkeeping functions, and reach into budgeting, forecasting, and process engineering. This will be a unique opportunity to work closely with the CFO of a public company and build experience going through both merger/acquisition and an IPO.
Responsibilities Accounting/Bookkeeping Forecasting/Budgeting Profit/Loss Analysis and Modeling Review and lead in evaluation and execution of benefits administration Work with external auditors and facilitate the detail necessary for a successful merger and IPO Skills Well-versed in accounting rules and principles Analytical aptitude Intellectual curiosity Proclivity towards action Qualifications Accounting Degree preferred 5+ years of direct accounting experience Detail oriented and organized Excited to be an important contributor to a success oriented organization
