At Lenz Truck the Controller is a key player, maintaining financial records and leading the business office department. We are looking for someone to join our team with an accounting degree or at least five years of Office Manager/Accounting experience. The right candidate will possess leadership skills needed to oversee the day-to-day operation of our accounting staff for both of our stores. Automotive Dealership experience is mandatory.Job Description (responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following)Oversee all aspects of the dealership's office activities, including accounting, payroll, inventories, titling, bank reconciliation, capping deals, spiffs & commissions, etc.Monthly sales tax filing for both storesPrepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet.Communicate with management issues as they arise.Maintain compliance with all accounting and reporting functions.Perform Daily Bank Reconciliation, Cash Management, and positive pay reportingResponsible for Front Desk ManagementOversee Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K benefit launch and enrollment.Human Resources duties include onboarding, filing, compliance, and assisting department managers.Manage annual audits.Additional Required Job SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to keep information confidentialSuperior organizational abilityExcellent attention to detailAbility to consistently meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access.Must be able to resolve accounting issues.The ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software such as DealertrackQualifications5 years of experience in Accounting Field or Accounting DegreeBA in Accounting preferredSome travel may be required.Excellent interpersonal and friendly professional demeanorExperience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Human Resources experienceSupervisory Experience
