CONTROLLEROur client is seeking an experienced Construction Controller to join their team. The Construction Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and accounting operations of our construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction accounting and possess excellent analytical and leadership skills.Responsibilities:Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Manage project cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for construction projects.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and track financial performance.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on project profitability and cost variances.Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.Lead the construction accounting team and provide guidance on accounting practices and procedures.Review and analyze project contracts, change orders, and claims to ensure proper revenue recognition and cost allocation.Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.Any other duties that may be assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting or a similar role.Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including revenue recognition, job costing, and WIP (work-in-progress) reporting.Proficiency in using construction accounting software and MS Excel.Experience with project management software and ERP systems is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Apply Today!!!
