Contracts Administration Lead Job ID 61800 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Contract Adminsitration Lead is accountable to implement and execute processes, procedures, and requirements that drives and ensures compliance with Owens Corning's Levels of Authority Policy, contract lifecycle management sytems, and related controls. The Contract Administration Lead is responsible for continuously identifying and implementing improvements to policies, processes, procedures and requirements to ensure a pragmatic, effective, efficient and sustainable contract management process. The Contract Administration Lead will also assist in protecting OC's confidential business information,  and sensitive technical / commercial know-how by collaborating and managing, when necessary, the process of executing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Sales Agreements, and Sourcing Agreements..  
Reports To:This position reports to the Sr. Legal Operations Lead.
Span of Control: No direct reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Administer the electronic Contract Management System (CMS), and/or other digital platforms, including without limitation to managing user licenses, system access controls, notifications, KPI creation and reporting, and other technical updates, issues, or modificationsWork with the CMS vendor to ensure seamless contract administration processes, future system upgrades and enhancements, and troubleshoot technical issues from system/feature configuration to system operationCollaborate and support the global commercial counsel teams in drafting contracts, managing clause banks, and creating and maintaining contract templatesDefine and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics to ensure process complianceConduct and assist in periodic audits/assessments to verify that all required contracts are in the CMS and in compliance with corporate policy; ensure timely remediation of failures identified during testingBecome and maintain role of Subject Matter Expert for Levels of Authority (LOA) Policy and contract administration processDevelop and revise policies including, but not limited to, the LOA Policy, Contract Administration Policy and Law Department LOA Policy Assist employees on the interpretation of the LOA Policy. Develop and maintain a database for Power of Attorneys and DelegationsProactively identify, track, mitigate and remediate policy compliance and process violations Provide training to global employees on the CMS (or other digital platforms), the LOA Policy, and supporting processes, procedures, and requirements as needed and appropriateInterface with external auditors, internal auditors, and Internal Controls relative to the contract management control structure Create, manage, and maintain contract records that include, without limitation, sales contracts, sourcing contracts, intercompany agreements, and environmental permitsEnsure timely receipt and storage of executed contracts into the CMSUtilize the CMS and other available workflow tools to obtain appropriate corporate approvals and ensure intended OC signer is authorized in compliance with the LOA Policy and other relevant legal requirementsWork closely with legal to review NDAs, sales contracts, sourcing contracts, and record data pertaining to the LOA Policy for accuracy;  provide assistance to remediate and mitigate errors Take on additional tasks as needed by the department MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary paralegal certification or degreeExceptional attention to detail EXPERIENCE 5+ years contract paralegal experience required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: General knowledge of legal terminology and principles.Demonstrated ability to utilize technical information to make independent decisions and make recommendations to supervising attorney.Expertise in legal research and analyzing and reviewing legal documents resulting in an error free end product.Demonstration of ability to put together action plans and timelines across multiple projects.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Demonstrated ability to provide high level support to various stakeholders across a heavily matrixed organization.Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under time constraints, organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.Expertise using contemporary office equipment and applications, including Micosoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standardsExceptional communication skills both orally and in writingAbility to handle high-stress situations Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with othersFlexibility to work beyond normal business hours when necessaryAbility to communicate effectively with senior leaders as well as inside and outside counsel. #LI-TF1
