Responsibilities
• Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with Project Execution contracting strategy• Facilitate preparation of contract exhibits and technical contract language• Coordinate with contract management group specialist for project requirements and contractor clarifications• Support project management in contractor contract negotiations• Coordinate project team in developing a project communication plan• Participate in training related to contract conformance• Review contractor documents for compliance and notify of non-compliance and deviations• Maintain contractor correspondence and documentation logs• Manage change order process and prepare meeting agenda for contract-related meetings• Establish and implement project contract document control and retention system• Review contractor invoices and coordinate resolution of contractual issues• Request, monitor, and track service request orders for project outside services providers• Coordinate contract close-out and assist during compliance audits• Ongoing communication with CCRL regarding projects' contractual requirements and issues
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline• 4 years of experience in legal, engineering, construction, and/or contract administration• Specific knowledge and experience in contracting process and issues related to energy industry construction projects• Familiarity with best management practices for contracting• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent technical writing skills
