Job Description:

Kindred Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Contact Center Specialist to join our remote team in San Antonio, Texas. As a part-time entry-level position, this role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry while providing quality customer service from the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities:1. Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with inquiries, appointments, and general information.2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to patients' needs and concerns and offering solutions in a timely manner.3. Utilize various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat, to engage with patients and ensure a positive experience.4. Collaborate with internal teams to address patient issues and escalate to the appropriate department when necessary.5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and follow up as needed.6. Stay up to date on healthcare policies and procedures to provide accurate information to patients.7. Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call quality, customer satisfaction, and response time.

Requirements:1. 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role.2. Passionate about helping others and driven to provide excellent service.3. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles.4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.5. Demonstrated cooperation and willingness to innovate in order to improve processes.6. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM platforms.7. Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
