Job Description:
General Motors is seeking a Contact Center Representative to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a part-time, work-from-home position for an Associate Level individual with at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, issues, and support related to General Motors products and services- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customers, identifying their needs, and resolving any problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner- Utilize company systems and resources to accurately document customer interactions and follow up on any outstanding issues- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience- Meet or exceed key performance indicators such as call resolution time, customer satisfaction scores, and upsell opportunities- Stay informed about General Motors products, services, promotions, and policies to effectively assist customers- Continuously improve your knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities
Requirements:- Reliable and resilient personality traits- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications- Previous experience in a contact center or customer service role preferred
