Responsibilities
• Managing consumer finance application pipeline• Supervising the preparation of necessary initial disclosures for vehicle financing or home equity installment financing• Reviewing documentation for quality control• Preparing closing documents and approving funding for approved financing transactions• Underwriting and approving or denying consumer applications• Implementing process and procedural changes based on quality control findings• Establishing and maintaining necessary written procedures and processes• Advising clients and consumer Account Executives on UIF's consumer finance programs and solutions• Managing closed consumer finance transactions and lien placement documentation• Assisting with strategic initiatives and vehicle finance division development
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field desired• 5+ years' experience with operational and closing management of consumer finance products and services• Previous supervisory or management experience in banking/lending required• 3+ years' experience in consumer underwriting• Experience working with vehicle financing• Maintain and foster positive relationships with customers, team members, and business partners• Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)• Understanding of religious, cultural, and ethnic sensitivity• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and dependability• Strong customer service, leadership, and management skills• Effective problem-solving and ability to understand complex loan origination and core banking software
