Description
Part of their role is to work with the on-site management team to be part of the decision making, to attend meetings concerning the current state of that work report any findings.
Working mostly in the field alongside the contractor; verifying their work, both from a safety perspective but also a quality perspective.
Taking part in inspecting and reporting on deliveries such as piles, the racking system, inverters, different modules, and so forth.
Creating new projects, setting the premises for renewable energy.
Will have your hands in almost everything onsite, a lot of day-to-day experiences.
Role will offer challenges (never at all moment) as a lot of different disciplines are crossed and you have to deal with conflict, decision making etc.
Qualifications
10-15 years of experience in mechanical discipline.
Ability to make decisions, solve conflicts and act as not only a team player, but a motivator.
Previous leadership experience would be preferred.
Strong communication is required as there will be a lot of communication with contractors and other site personnel.
Able to provide good direction and recommendations on how to perform work and how it should look.
Targeting Mechanical leads or mechanical inspectors.
Has led a construction team and has similar previous experience with the racking systems and experience with different inverters.
Can follow a schedule and can follow drawings to verify the accuracy of the work that the contractors are performing.
Problem solving skills
Must be safety minded.
Knowledge/experience with multiple different racking systems and familiarity with different brands and the components in addition to different manufacturers.
Expert level knowledge on these different systems on a solar plant.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
Proficient with writing reports, presenting.
Role is highly collaborative.

Technical Certification Bonus:
Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
