Construction Superintendent - Mission Critical Facilities - Base Salary to 120k/year - Fort Worth, TX Our client is a general construction firm dedicated to delivering service excellence to their clients in general contracting and construction management at risk. Their expertise extends across projects of varying markets, encompassing both public and private sectors, where their success is gauged by the realization of the client's goals and the enduring trust, they place in them. Currently, they are seeking Construction Superintendent with experience building in the Mission Critical industry. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for supervising, scheduling and coordinating all construction field activities. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project. The Construction Superintendent has supervisory responsibility for Field Engineers, Assistant Superintendents, Interns and trade labor in their area of responsibility. Responsibilities: Overseeing and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels. Overseeing work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation. Resolving local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters. Managing the overall site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance with company standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations. Supervising and developing Field Engineers and/or interns, as assigned, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals. Creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Developing and implementing recovery strategies to maintain project schedule. Communicating with owners and architects/engineers in connection with field issues. Investigating and resolving such issues. Participating in the subcontractor and company billing process as it relates to work in place and overseeing the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices and subcontractor payment applications. Managing the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents. Participate in preconstruction activities such as Bidding and Estimating, Constructability Reviews and Promoting project opportunities to subcontractors. Qualifications: 5+ Years of related experience building projects in the mission critical industry. Bachelor's degree preferred but will look at experience over degree. Thorough understanding of Data Center infrastructure, specific to underground utilities, fiber installation, management, and integration. Thorough understanding of JHA/JRA forms pertaining to "Safety Management" on-site with all subcontractors. Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software as well as a level of Scheduling Software, P6 or Microsoft Projects Ability to thoroughly read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. OSHA 10 or 30 Certified BICSI ICT Certification: RTPM – Registered Telecommunications Project Manager Certification – Preferred but not required Compensation: Base salary in the 95k – 120k/year range Structured bonus system Auto allowance with fuel card Health insurance programs 401k PTO and Paid Holidays
