About us: We are a General Contractor that has been in the industry since 2005. Although our specialty is working on Government and Federal buildings, we also do renovations, ground-up construction, concrete, and repurposing. We are located in Albuquerque, NM, and have a 2nd office in Amarillo, TX. (You must be willing to work in either one of the offices)
Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality level. The Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Managing delivery order execution in accordance with contract requirements and project management procedures. Attend pre-issuance site visits to determine existing conditions, develop client needs in detail, and develop preliminary approximations of types of materials to be used. Review delivery order contracts, specifications, and drawings. Prepare estimates for each job order based on technical specifications and drawings or sketches; where feasible provide possible value engineering suggestions. Determine most economic material that conforms to project drawings and specifications. Confirm that all necessary materials and supplies are included in the scope of work. Identify all work items on each job order and estimate quantities of each item. Prepare quantity take-offs and enter line items into on-site computer containing the pre-established unit prices. Develop pricing for non-scheduled line items. Solicit detailed proposal information from at least three vendors and/or subcontractors with all supporting documentation on equipment, material and labor costs for material or equipment. Request bids from pre-qualified subcontractors and negotiate delivery order sub agreements. Evaluate proposals from vendors and/or subcontractors for compliance with scope of work. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or related field. 5+ years of project management experience. PMP certification preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in project management tools and technologies.
