Job Description As a Construction Materials and Testing (CMT) Technician, you will performs a variety of routine geotechnical and construction materials testing assignments that strengthen knowledge and experience with construction staff, methods, practices, and programs while under direct supervision. This position assists with verifying the quality and safety of materials and structures to ensure successful completion of construction projects. In this role you will assist with site inspections, prepare samples of materials for testing according to pre-established guidelines. Provide daily field and or laboratory report preparation and file management for multiple projects.
You will also travel to various job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions. Ability to contribute and work well on a team. 3+ years of experience in construction related field Valid driver's license and a good driving history. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade 1, International Code Council (ICC) Nuclear Gauge, or applicable Department of Transportation/Road certifications are preferred. Associate's degree in a construction related filed preferred.
