Owners Representative Construction Management- Electrical or Mechanical. Willing to Travel

Advantage Point Group is looking for an Owners Representative with Electrical and/or Mechanical experience for various industrial plants to oversee the construction contractors on site and ensure they are preforming their tasks in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner. As an Owners Rep (sometimes called Designated Rep or Client Rep) you are the liaison between engineering and construction contractors.

· worked on industrial or heavy commercial construction mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects?

Responsibilities
You will oversee contractor's performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner to ensure safety and contract compliance. The plant is under continuous improvement and change with multiple construction projects in progress throughout each year.

The primary need is industrial electrical or mechanical experience for various projects at different plants around the US.

Candidate will NOT be the individual(s) performing the maintenance and physical labor but will observe skilled trades people who are performing these tasks.

Requirements
12 years previous Industrial Construction experience.
Industrial plant, electrical, process electrical, piping, equipment installation, and/or Class 1 Div 1 experience required.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
OSHA 30 and confine spaces certification preferred.

Planned Schedule:

Work is on day or night shifts, 8-10-hour days, 5-6 days a week, and some weekends.

Duration:

Project lengths vary from 3 weeks to 12 months.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate:

$50-$65/hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications. A typical work week is 55-60 hours per week. Overtime is expected. Eligible for per diem if not a local candidate.
