Construction Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring efficient utilization of resources. Provide guidance and direction to field supervisors and workers. Collaborate with project managers to develop construction schedules and milestones. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed. Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and environmental standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Oversee construction quality control processes. Inspect workmanship, materials, and equipment to maintain high standards. Address any deviations from specifications promptly. Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor requirements. Optimize resource allocation to meet project deadlines. Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular project updates to management. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in oil and gas construction, with a focus on leadership roles. Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety practices, and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
