Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Construction Compliance Coordinator. Reporting to the Construction Controller, this position will be responsible for the organization and collection of compliance documentation pertaining to subcontracts as well as assist with administrative duties of the Project Accounting Team and special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities: Manage and create database of all subcontractor certificates of insurance. Ensure all COIs meet requirements and are current to Company's policy. Receives and records all preliminary lien notices to online database per project, per subcontractor. Collects all required and appropriate waivers on projects as needed and required. Maintains electronic storage for all appropriate documents in their proper place. Maintains company OCIP (Owner Controller Insurance Program) policies, verifies and assists subcontractor enrollment. Assists with administrative duties as assigned by Project Accounting Team. Job Requirements Specific qualifications for the Project Manager role include:
3 years of experience preferred, not required, in work that involves a high level or organization skills. Must be highly organized and structured in their work. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office . Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of insurance policy requirements including required limits, types, endorsements. Knowledge of construction industry. Knowledge of computers database/spreadsheet/word processing software. Strong communication skills and team player . Planning and organizing skills, with emphasis on attention to detail. Problem solving skills. Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision.
