Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for project expenses. Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to track project costs, budgets, and expenditures. Assist with the preparation of bid proposals, project estimates, and contract documentation. Provide support during audits and financial reviews by organizing and preparing relevant documentation. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction accounting and bookkeeping. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency with accounting software, specifically Quickbooks Desktop. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders. Knowledge of residential & commercial construction projects and associated accounting practices is preferred but not required. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pass a background check and drug test
