CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION EXECUTIVE
Job Description:
Established +28-year-old concrete contractor looking for a Concrete Construction Executive to help oversee the management and operations of the company in all capacity. This would include but not limited to, supervising project teams, managing budgets, assisting with bidding, communicating with clients, and developing relationships with vendors and business partners.
Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee all aspects of the construction process.
Assist on all levels of the project, including project execution, project planning, project financials, preconstruction, and health and safety planning.
Ensure timely delivery of all projects, within the agreed budget, and following the pre-established specifications.
Develop strategies that support the companys growth to acquire new clients.
Collaborate at all levels within the company to assure that project strategies are implemented well.
Identify and define problems and find solutions
think analytically.
Bid on projects.

Education, Experience, & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Construction Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
At least ten (10) years of concrete construction management experience.
Understanding of the construction process, including cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering.
Knowledge of contract risk management, as well as client-contract requirements and subcontractor requirements.
Experience working with general contractors, inspectors, and government officials.
Ability to read and understand construction documents such as blueprints, scopes of work, schedules, specifications, safety manuals, contracts, etc.
Familiarity with change orders, purchase orders, etc.
Fundamental knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and certified payrolls.
Proficient computer skills using estimating software as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Estimating commercial, industrial and government projects.
Results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation with the ability to work productively and meet project deadlines.
Excellent listening skills and strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible approach to working with all types of individuals.
Spanish speaking, safety and ACI certifications preferred, but not required.
Work overtime and weekends when needed.
Ability to travel as needed.
Must have GREAT references and a clean background to be able to get on Government facilities as needed!
