JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S
Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II

JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Responsibilities include support in ongoing development and implementation of general and program specific Communications Security (COMSEC) processes and procedures to include the advisement, planning, implementation, training, oversight, monitoring, analysis, reporting and assistance in the execution of security operations for multi-service COMSEC support and duties relating to the day-to-day support of an Operation Test location
Candidates with Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) certification will receive first consideration
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Providing a focal point for COMSEC requirements as needed for systems, including daily key management for all Services supported
• Provide support of annual and monthly rekeying of classified systems, secure telephone equipment and all air vehicle systems
• Provide training to COMSEC Responsible Officers and provide assurance that users assigned to the COMSEC account are in regulation to standards defined in AFMAN 17- 1302-0
• Provide support for periodic COMSEC inspections including the semi-annual COMSEC inspections, inventory and insurance that all COMSEC users are compliant with all COMSEC regulations
• Provide appropriate COMSEC clearances, briefings, and training as needed for the function and to receive associated keying material
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Security+ or higher
• Associates degree or equivalent military or technical school and 5 years related work experience in a Main 6-digit COMSEC Account complimented by formal training such as successful completion of the KMI Operating Account Manager's certification
• Must be very knowledgeable with the rules and regulations of AFMAN 17-1302-0 and NSA directives pertaining to COMSEC operations
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be proficient operating personal computers using Microsoft word, excel, and possess database management experience
• Must be a U.S
citizen
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training/certification
Possess 5 years of experience in computer system security and/or related areas of expertise
Must be compliant to DoD 8570.01-M levels and possess or working toward Security+ certification with a CISSP desired
Should have experience with JSIG, NIST 800 and NISPOM, Chapter 8
In addition, an Information Systems Security Specialist II must possess the following qualifications:
• Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer security and information systems and working experience with Microsoft Office, Access, and Visio
• Must possess experience supporting various system configurations such as Stand Alone, Local Area Networks, and Wide Area Networks
• Must possess excellent skills in verbal and written communications, planning, and organizing
• Ability to work under deadlines
Employee is expected to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments
Government vehicle is used on an as-needed basis
• Ability to work in a field environment at remote locations with occasional overnight assignments
• Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
• Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license

This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards
There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness
