Amazon is seeking a Compliance Administrator with a history of high performance and creativity to support driving TOM Safety initiatives across the expanding North American Transportation Operations Management (TOM) network. The Compliance Administrator will support the Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Driving Safety Program Management Team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, and demonstrate ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. Must have the ability to communicate well and to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversees all TOM safety driving operations by analyzing driving safety metrics and reviewing reporting of daily and weekly events to discover trends that rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources and update training/processes if needed to areas where the safety risk is highest.
• Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for driving safety statistics.
• Create targeted, program-based assessments utilizing data based on trend analysis to generate action plans to correct or improve behaviors.
• Communicate and distribute material across a wide range of audiences within a short period of time.
• Help conduct detailed and thorough event deep dives when applicable
• Support the improvement of automated dashboard reporting on driving safety statistics as Amazon expands operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, writing and collaborator; able to articulate program recommendations, balance tradeoffs, drive consensus and gain support by utilizing excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
• Comfortable presenting driving safety metrics and project initiatives to multiple business unit stakeholders
• Generate project and driving safety communications such as weekly business reviews, weekly mementos, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Work in close partnership with peers and cross-functional teams to evolve the program and drive new initiatives.
-Collect data and present it on the DBR, WBR and MBR or QBR if necessary.
-Aid in driving safety reviews, SIM management and execute all given standard work.
-Work with other stake holders to improve driving safety trends.
• +/- 25% travel
• Flexible shifts which could include days, nights and/or weekends
A day in the life
Daily, the data analyst will pull and review the driving safety events and enter the data into a central tracking database. Then the analyst will report out previous day and/or week to date trends and follow up with site level leaders for any escalations. Weekly, the data will be combined and presented for the weekly business review. Admins will also support a variety of standard work tasks within internal systems such as SIM and internal dashboards.

The Proactive Safety team is committed to the safety of all TOM driving functions both In Yard and OTR. Our mission is to improve driver safety and reduce risk using data driven metrics and trends and provide continuous improvement to the TOM field with Network level impact.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Arlington, VA, USA | Atlanta, GA, USA | Nashville, TN, USA | Phoenix, AZ, USA | Seattle, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of professional or military experience
- High school or equivalent
- Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- 1+ years of experience driving or has a CDL,
- Experience with analytical tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, MS Office, Asana, and SharePoint
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel- must be familiar with formulas, such as v-lookup, countif, and able to make and manipulate pivot tables and graphs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills- must submit a writing sample that will demonstrate proficient writing with correct grammar and punctuation.
- Strong data mining, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working collaboratively and cross functionally with different teams and stakeholder groups.
