Job Summary:
Join our team as a Compensation Assistant! In this role, you'll play a vital part in our organization by providing operational support for job and compensation activities. Your responsibilities will include tracking, maintaining, and documenting job and pay information across various systems and spreadsheets, as well as managing our position description library with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
Essential Responsibilities:
Job Information Tracking:
- Support the job evaluation process and provide information to managers.
- Assist Compensation Analysts in reviewing position description updates and drafting memos.
- Maintain and update job classification data in collaboration with HR teams.
Position Management Support:
- Maintain and communicate position control numbers for job evaluations.
- Research and resolve position number queries with Finance, Recruitment, and Payroll teams.
- Generate routine job posting reports to ensure accurate position assignments.
Documentation:
- Prepare documentation for pay reviews and job offers.
- Assist in submitting internal pay data to third-party survey vendors.
- Collaborate in preparing materials for annual compensation reviews.
Other Operational Assistance:
- Format system-generated reports and collaborate with HRIS Administrator.
- Assist in updating HR intranet site content in coordination with HR and marketing staff.
- Participate in department projects and initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and utilize multiple HR systems efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data sources.
- Critical thinking skills to identify solutions and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- High level of confidentiality and understanding of data privacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative or operational support experience required, including at least 1 year of data tracking and coordination with multiple teams. Compensation and/or HR experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Primarily remote work.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
