CriSyS, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Community Policing Crisis Clinician to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The working schedule is 12PM- 10PM, or 2PM- 12AM. As a Community Policing Crisis Clinician, you will work closely as part of a police-based team, perform crisis intervention techniques, and serve as a liaison between clients, families, and community partners.
What You'll Do: Perform on-scene assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans.Effectively communicate clients' needs while making internal agency or community referrals.Experience working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations.Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency's services.Demonstrate a working knowledge of the medical implications when working with substance abuse consumers.Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough mannerAbide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.What We Require: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study with at least one (1) year of professional experienceMust possess and maintain current licensure in the State of North Carolina (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA)Must be able to commit to working 10-hour work shiftsMust be able to de-escalate high-risk situations and be comfortable wearing a bulletproof vestMust possess a valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insuranceWhat We Value: Experience working in a crisis environment.What You'll Get: Salary Range: $73,000-$78,000 annually (depending on licensure and experience)Competitive benefits including paid time off, medical with HRA, dental, vision, 403(b) with Company match, and much more!No cost supervision for clinical licensure.Smart, passionate, and engaged co-workers.Opportunities for career growth, training and development, flexible work schedules.The rare opportunity to make a difference in the very community that you call home.
