Job Overview:
As a Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our community associations. You'll have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including homeowners, vendors, board members, and committee members, ensuring that their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operation and administration of the association in alignment with the management agreement and established policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the association's board of directors and homeowners, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with the board of directors to fulfill administrative and management duties in accordance with the management agreement.
- Utilize and enhance Associa community management tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Review monthly financial reports and provide insightful summaries to the association's board of directors.
- Offer recommendations to the board of directors regarding major capital expenditures to maintain community aesthetics and functionality.
- Monitor delinquency rates and oversee the collections process for account portfolio.
- Attend board meetings and community events to stay engaged with stakeholders and address any concerns.
- Prepare comprehensive board packages within established time frames.
- Keep the board of directors informed of any legal actions involving the association.
- Maintain accurate records related to the association's operations, including unit and contract files.
- Support the architectural review process and conduct routine inspections as necessary.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes effectively.
- Oversee Associa staff in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate building facilities inspections and follow up on necessary actions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of community management, property, and homeowners associations.
- Familiarity with the role of the association board and the Community Association Manager.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in community association management.
