Community Education Instructor

Overview Schedule Information: Includes evening and weekend work
Hours per Week: Will vary depending on students

Work Conditions: Work is primarily indoors and sedentary in nature
Duties of Position: Teach weekly private or group graphic design, animation, and illustration classes to non-credit students and enroll in the Community Music and Arts Center programs.
Organize and maintain a consistent teaching schedule.
Communicate to students regarding scheduling, progress, and signing up for classes.
Integrate technology into the delivery of instruction.
Be active on social media outlets for the purpose of promoting the program.
Educational Requirements: Formal training and degree/s in your discipline is preferred.
Experience Requirements: 1-3 years successful prior teaching experience.
Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, openness to new ideas, self-starter attitude and willingness to work with professionals in other disciplines.
Must be willing to quickly respond to emails from the coordinator.
Must be willing to respond quickly to inquiries from students.
The ability to teach more than one discipline is a plus.
Must be comfortable with email, social media outlets, and texting.
