Responsibilities
• Assist customers in obtaining information and services• Work with personnel and physicians to provide assistance and handle problem situations• Operate department equipment and perform operational tasks• Process diverse requests for information and activate emergency plans• Document technical and operational problems• Provide accurate documentation of work performed• Plan, organize, and control assigned tasks and responsibilities• Maintain and update department databases• Maintain an orderly work area• Develop and maintain knowledge of information technology
Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED required• Two years of experience in call processing, dispatching, paging, and customer service• Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications equipment and services• Excellent communication skills• Ability to resolve problems• Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of Windows based software, preferably E-mail, Excel, Word• Interpersonal skills• Telephone customer service skills
