This is a full-time, permanent position with the Office of Health Policy & Analytics, with the Oregon Educator Benefits Board (OEBB) and Public Employees' Benefit Board (PEBB). This is a full-time, permanent, management service position. The position can be full-time in office, remote or hybrid. What you will do! Initiate, plan, develop, implement, and monitor timely, accurate and understandable statewide communication with members, agencies, the public, legislators, and carriers. The scope of this position is broad and affects all aspects of the agency. The position develops and implements strategies to inform members and constituencies, manage challenges, communicate internally, and promote the Board mission. The position assesses communications needs, evaluates processes, designs, and directs information or education, and enhances customers' abilities to understand OEBB and PEBB programs through the design and readability of publications and other communication materials. The position provides education, promotion, printing, design, development and related communications services for all program activities and serves as an advisor to the Administrator on communications/public relations and policies. The position works directly with the OEBB and PEBB Administrator, leadership team, Board members, other agency heads and staff, and partners on internal and external communications issues. Work Location The work of this role may be conducted remotely; this role requires 2-3 times annually on-site. (Location: Salem - Marion). This position must have demonstrated ability to exercise good independent judgment, to interpret complex policy or procedures, and to effectively communicate these to the select audience.
