Commercial Service Technician
Climate Systems is looking for experienced Commercial Service Technicians to join our team in Charlotte, NC. We are a full-service mechanical contractor with our core business being owner focused. Our niche is quality HVAC service, mechanical retrofit and replacement needs for our clientele.

This is a Direct Hire Position

Summary of your daily role:
Deliver preventive maintenance, repairs, and commissioning on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems. In alignment with company standards providing the client with a high-quality experience.
How much of your weekly life we need you:
40+ hours per week plus some weekend work based on our clients needs.
This position does require participation in a rotating on call schedule.
The list of experience and qualifications youll need to possess to be successful with the Climate Systems Team:
5+ years' commercial HVAC experience.
Ability to pass criminal background checks.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screening as required.
Must have a insurable driving record and experience driving commercial sized service vehicles.
Willingness to utilize Safety PPE daily proactively.
Ability to lift 75lbs self-sufficiently.
Ability to work from step ladders and climb extension or fixed ladders.
Advanced customer service skills.
Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility for assigned tasks and leadership of those less skilled.
Formal HVAC education preferred and strong mechanical background.
Competency in refrigeration fundamentals to include liquid subcooling, suction and discharge superheat.
Fluent electrical meter usage skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, components on them and HVAC related symbols.
Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience evaluating repair or replace decisions based on equipment condition and life expectancy.
Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
Knowledge of air and hydronic balance fundamentals.
Universal EPA/CFC Certification
