Yes Job Description: Collective Trainer Fort Sill Mission Training Complex (MTC) provides collective training expertise to conduct training programs, teach classes, hold seminars and discussion groups, and plan Staff Exercises, Command Post Exercises, and simulation-based Battalion and Brigade level exercises. Collective Trainers design, develop, organize, and deliver collective training programs to train all levels of personnel in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO). HOW THE COLLECTIVE TRAINER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Acts as a recognized technical expert in computer based collective training. Functions as an individual contributor in at least one of the six Army Warfighting Functions (WfF). Typically has specialization in the Fires or Intelligence WfF. Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements, and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training. Have completed the Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), or the Army Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or the Army Battle Staff Course, or served as a Digital Master Gunner with ASI 5C identifier or served as an Operations Sergeant Major or Operations Sergeant in a Battalion, Brigade, Division or Corps command post. Keeps abreast of doctrinal, operational, and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends. Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to Brigade. Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training. Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested. Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs). Be qualified to operate at least two Army MCIS. Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: BA/BS in related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training/work experience. Experience : 8+ years of relevant experience. Required Experience: Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs. Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter. Security Clearance: Current SECRET required. Required Skills and Ability: Expert knowledge of the principals, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills. Location: Fort Sill, Oklahoma MTC. Normal work schedule is ******** , may require night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements. Travel: May require occasional travel (less than 10%).
