Avera is currently seeking a Lead Collection Specialist to join our Team!

Job Summary
The Lead Collection Specialist is responsible for the collection of delinquent patient accounts using professional telephone techniques and support the overall department as needed by the Collection Supervisor.
The Lead Collection Specialist must understand and apply the laws and regulations governing medical collections, be responsible for accurately updating account records and counseling patients with respect to making sound financial decisions, and will maintain the highest degree of professionalism while interacting with patients regarding their accounts.
The skills and abilities of the Lead Collection Specialist will be used to teach and influence Collection Specialists within the department.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED is required.
Three (3) years' experience in collections is preferred.
Third party collections experience is preferred.

Hours
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay
$23.75 - $30.25 per hour
