Coffee Shop Server, Nutrition Services Location Hibbing, MN : Overview: The Coffee Shop Server provides customer service to all Mesaba Java patrons and assists with other duties as required to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently. Internal posting through 2/5/2024. Responsibilities/: Serves coffee shop patrons during service hours. Prepares specialty coffees per manufacturer's guide. Operates cash register on service line and makes change accurately. Demonstrates ability to operate all equipment. Performs food preparation tasks as assigned. Keeps all areas of service appropriately stocked. Qualifications: Required:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in food and customer services, to include: planning menus and pricing new menu items; documented work experience in the preparation of specialty coffee drinks per manufacturer's directions; assembling and garnishing food attractively; preparing orders for all food and supply items needed; utilization of portion control and cost control procedures; using the cash register and making change accurately; doing shop inventory.
