DESCRIPTION: This position, under general supervision, identifies and solves a variety of quality-of-life issues categorized as nuisances and other incivilities of a community concern.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting at $21.02/hour. The City participates in the Utah Retirement System and currently provides health, dental, vision and life insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a United States Citizen; or a legal permanent resident High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of appointment. Must possess a valid Utah Driver License. Must have no felony or domestic violence convictions. Must have the ability to attend the Utah Police Academy (P.O.S.T) for five weeks to obtain a "Special Functions Officer" certification. Prior to hire, must be able to pass the P.O.S.T. physical fitness requirements Consideration will be given for military service and Special Functions Certification. P.O.S.T. PHYSICAL FITNESS ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: -1.5 mile run in sixteen minutes and eleven seconds
