Seeking Registered Nurses to join our OB Department! The RN will provide nursing care to all patients in the respective unit, demonstrating the ability to triage and assess patient needs to ensure adequate care and nursing standards are met, observe and initiate appropriate nursing treatments, and report symptoms and conditions of patients to medical staff. In addition, the RN will perform tasks such as assisting with invasive procedures, administering medications, documenting, and assisting other staff members on the team.
DUTIES Assisting, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of care to accepted nursing and hospital standards Administering prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques. Maintaining awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients. Observing patients, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifying physicians of patient's conditions and reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Responding to all situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol. Documenting nursing history and physical assessment for assigned patients. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION Experience: A minimum of 1 year of OB RN experience is required Education: At a minimum, associate's degree in nursing. BSN is preferred. Licenses, Certifications, and Registration: Current active Colorado Registered Nurse license. At a minimum, current AHA and BLS certifications are required upon hire.
