Kurt Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to perform all operations to set-up equipment and fixtures in the machining center. This position will primarily run 5+ axis, complex machines (for example mill-turn and complex lathes). Shift: This is a second-shift position with a shift differential.
. Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Friday 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Essential Functions
Sets up, adjusts, checks out programming and operates CNC machines to perform a series of progressive machining operations requiring a high degree of skill. Demonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform daily maintenance of machines as required. Operators may run more than one unit simultaneously. Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures. Maintain a clean, safe work area. Other Duties

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 5 years of related experience Ability to perform metric conversions Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Preferred
