Our client is looking a CNC Lathe operator with a minimum of 1 year experience running oil-field threads such as stub-acme and API round machines. The ideal person for the position will be experienced with Mazak, Puma Doosan 2 axis as well as live tooling.
This shop is in West Tulsa and within 10 miles of Jenks, Glenpool, Bixby, Leonard, and Broken Arrow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prior Live tooling is required.
-Sets up and operates CNC Mazak, and Puma Doosan lathes
-Prefers if also able to edit at the machine
-Must be able to read Calipers (Vernier and Dial)
-Must be able to read Micrometers (standard, grooving, pitch)
-Sets up and operates machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of settings and programmed control data.
-Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with customer requirements.
-Proves CNC programs for accuracy and optimum speeds to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
-Maintains a clean and organized work area and maintains all equipment, to like new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
-Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a productive manner with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
-Worker must be a team player, be dependable and self-driven
Basic personal tools and toolbox required in the performance of general machining activities.
Hours: 6 a.m. - 4 p.m. M-TH 6-a.m - 2:00 Friday Overtime only after probationary/temp time.
Benefits: Medical, & Dental eligible after probationary periods through placement agency and workplace are successfully completed.
Pay: $16 - $22 based on experience
