CNA 1 - Medical Surgical at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.Night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 2, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends..6 FTE position.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to a high functioning team• Meaningly advance post-operative recovery of surgical patients• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests• Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices• Opportunities for continuing education and professional development• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire• Preferred: 1 year experience in nursing home or hospital• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year - Experience in nursing home or hospital experience
