This includes, but is not limited to: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Ahwatukee.Description:The CNA/Caregiver/HHA is responsible for providing high quality, safe and supportive care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, the CNA/Caregiver/HHA will assist the patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and other necessary task that are essential to their every day living.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Personal Care- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing.Mobility- Assist with ambulation, physical therapy exercise and walking inside and outside the home.Meals- Assist with the planning and preparation of mealsHousekeeping- perform light housekeeping duties where needed (dishes, bedding, laundry, dust, sweep, mop, etc.).Reminders- Remind clients to take prescription medications and of scheduled appointments.Errands- Complete shopping task or accompany patients while they shop.Transportation- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, pharmacy, and other errands as needed.Teamwork:Work cooperatively in a one-on-one setting and providing feedback and updates to office staff as required.Adhere to all company regulations, quality, and safety standards.Perform additional responsibilities as needed.Skills/Abilities:Ability to enrich the lives of others in a compassionate and supportive manner.Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.Ability to assist clients/patients in a one-on-one environment.Must be able to adapt to changing situations as needed.Must be able to follow instructions and implement proper safety protocols and standards.Must have flexible availability to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends.Ability to act in emergency situations quickly and responsively.Education, Certification, License:High School Diploma or GED equivalentCurrent TB TestingCPR/First AidDCW Training (will provide if needed)Fingerprint Clearance Card or Background CheckHoyer Lift Experience (client specific requirement).Ability to lift up to 25lbsValid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.Must be 18yrs or olderCompetencies:Self-Motivation, Positive and Professional Approach, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Communications, InterpersonalEmployee Benefits Program:401K after 1yr of employmentPaid Bonus for pre-existing certifications (CPR, FA, Fingerprint Clearance, DCW)We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
