Responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all payroll policies and procedures• Enter new employee records and review all P.A.F.'s for accuracy• Process rate changes, transfers, and vacation accrual/sick pay records• Input payroll data from summaries and pay requests, balance to department totals• Process employee deductions and generate new checks when necessary• Provide assistance to other units regarding payroll policies and procedures• Handle guest inquiries, problems, and complaints with exceptional customer service• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates• Manage conflicts and stay organized with time management skills• Support development, mentoring, and training of associates
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required• At least 1 year of experience in finance and accounting or related field• Knowledge of payroll policies, procedures, and computer systems• Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll records
