Responsibilities
• Install server/appliance software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop PCs and networking infrastructure• Backup/restore systems, provision accounts, and provide end user support• Hardware/software configuration and management• Detect and restore server/appliance failure, facilitate file system integrity• Assist with security concerns and implement IT policies/procedures• Provide end user support for server and laptop/desktop issues• Log and track trouble tickets, document problems/resolutions• Other related duties as required
Requirements
• Associate's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience• Experience with Microsoft Products, Azure Architecture, Intune, etc.• Experience with server administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, etc.• Understanding of WAN and LAN network protocols and principles• Working in a mixed hardware environment• TCP/IP networking and IT security experience• Knowledge of network connectivity, technologies, protocols, and security• Willingness to visit client locations• Strong desire to develop and grow in knowledge and experience• Experience in higher education and understanding of college mission
