Job summary
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Clinical Sales Specialist located in Manhattan & Bronx territory.The Clinical Sales Specialist will advance the company's sales of orthopedic surgical products.They will provide clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support.• Serve as the sole company representative to provide direct customer support.• Troubleshoot and respond to physician needs, handle hospital billing, and close purchase orders.• Share customer insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.• Prepare sales reports and documents, provide operating room consultation.• Maintain and track equipment and assets, ensure promotional materials are presentable.• Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.• Ensure DePuy Synthes services meet quality standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification with minimum 2 years of professional experience.• Or minimum 4 years of professional experience.• Or recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.• Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.• Valid driver's license issued in the United States.• Ability to travel, including weekends and/or overnight.• Residence in or ability to relocate to the assigned territory.• Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.• Experienced in data analysis and insight skills.• Results orientation, ability to work independently and in a complex organization.• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, basic knowledge of surgery preferred.• Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions preferred.
