Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:As a Clinical Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of quality management within the organization, with a focus on clinical operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to drive clinical quality initiatives and support the company's objectives.Where you come in:Quality First and Safety Management:Promote a culture of qualityManage clinical safety oversightImplement measures to ensure product quality and patient safetyChampion continuous improvement initiativesProtocol Review:Review and approve clinical study protocolsEnsure protocols are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize study designsPMCF (Post-Market Clinical Follow-up) Review:Lead the review and management of post-market clinical follow-up activities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standardsVendor Qualification:Develop and implement vendor qualification processesEvaluate and qualify vendors according to established criteriaSupport vendor performance and adherence to quality standardsAudit Lead/Support:Lead or support internal and external audits as requiredDevelop audit plans and schedulesCoordinate audit responses and follow-up on corrective actionsProcedure Development:Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructionsEnsure procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements and best practicesTrain staff on quality procedures and ensure adherenceCAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) Management:Lead the CAPA process, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actionsMonitor CAPA effectiveness and closure within established timelinesValidation Review/Approval:Review and approve validation protocols and reportsEnsure validation activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsCross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and drive improvements.Act as a subject matter expert on quality matters and provide guidance to stakeholderseTMF (Electronic Trial Master File) Management:Oversee the management of the electronic trial master file systemEnsure eTMF completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirementsDocument System Oversight:Provide oversight of document management systemsEnsure proper documentation practices and version controlImplement improvements to streamline document processesWhat makes you successful:Experience working in clinical research and knowledge of clinical trial design and analysis.Minimum of 3 year in Clinical Quality roleExperience in audit supportExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate results and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with continuous glucose monitoring devices and diabetes management is a plusWhat you'll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
